Data Center

WIN’s “800 Building” data center is a secure and flexible facility located at WIN headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.

The 800 Building data center is staffed around the clock every day of the year by WIN’s Network Management Center (NMC) team, a corps of technical experts that cares for over 100,000 end users across the country.

The data center is engineered to be an agile solution, able to accommodate your needs from a single rack unit to an entire row of dedicated cabinets. With WIN’s data center, your needs drive every step of the process from engineering to deployment and support.

Have you already invested in IT but are looking for a new or more secure place to host it? The WIN data center specializes in colocation services, offering the full slate of “rack, stack, and power” that customers expect.

Our data center is move-in ready, with standard rack units standing by for your business equipment. All WIN data center racks enjoy dual and redundant feeds from Xcel Energy specific to each rack, as well as two backup battery systems and backup generators to carry the data center in the event of a power interruption.

If you need something larger than a few RUs, or want a more customized service involving advanced security and monitoring, our engineering team will walk with you through the process of designing and deploying the perfect data center solution.

Whether you’d like to engineer something new from the ground up or simply move your existing infrastructure, you’ll find a protected, hardened, and secure facility at WIN.

SOC 2 Compliant

WIN’s data center has passed the rigorous SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 examinations for security and availability principles of trust. The SOC examinations were conducted by an independent, third-party CPA firm.

SOC 2 is a set of data center industry standards overseen by the American Institute of CPAs. SOC 2 reports are highly regarded and seen as valuable insight into the day-to-day process and procedures of data center operations. More information on the SOC 2 examination can be found here.
